Learn the Travel Business at Home

Course Outline/Description:
Our school, founded in 1976, is accredited by the Maryland State Board of Higher Education. Our Correspondence Division lessons are based on the curriculum of the classroom course. The cost for the Home Study Course is $500. Internet based training provides a tutorial on SABRE, one of the largest airline reservation systems in the world. You will learn the basic formats necessary to book airline tickets worldwide. Printed materials will be provided to familiarize you with the most reputable of tour operators and you will learn how to book vacation packages as well as cruises. You will be allowed to work at your own pace but will be required to complete assignments and return them to us for correction. There will be a comprehensive final exam and a certificate will be issued upon satisfactory completion of the course (a grade of 70% or better). Once you finish this home study course, you will be eligible to apply for an entry level position as a travel agent.
Many people inquire about job placement. We offer a job placement program to students who complete our classroom study course and would be more than happy to extend this courtesy to graduates in the Baltimore - Washington area. Most of our inquiries, however, are from across the United States and overseas and therefore, to promise job placement would be misleading.
